NEW THIS YEAR: Door to Door Evangelism

We are officially adding Door-to-Door Evangelism (D2D) to the Visiting Teams this year.

Each morning, the D2D team will gather after breakfast for 45-60 minutes of prayer and training before heading out into the community. Teams of 2-3 will visit local apartment buildings and areas surrounding our construction projects, engaging in meaningful conversations and sharing faith with those we meet. We will be learning and implementing the “Three Circles” approach. After lunch, we’ll regroup to debrief, reflect on the morning’s experiences, share prayer requests, and support one another in this mission.

D2D is a family friendly opportunity—children are welcome to participate alongside their parents!

Join us in spreading hope and building connections—one conversation at a time.

Visiting teams

Hospital Visits • Nursing Home Visits • Prayer • Evangelism

There are various visiting teams that allow you to minister to the community in different ways like visiting nursing homes, encouraging responders, or praying over those in need.

These opportunities allow you to serve with a more relational and conversational based focus.

MOST of these options are great opportunities for the entire family.

Kid Friendly Teams

Kids on Mission • Nursing Home Visits • Food Drive • Public Area Clean-Up • Yard Work

Kid friendly teams are safe for the entire family.

Kids on Mission, specifically tailored for parents serving with kids, reaches out to first responders, local ministries, as well as  shut-ins, delivering prayer, crafts, and small notes of encouragement.

Outdoor Teams

Yard Work • Hauling Brush • Random Acts of Kindness • Public Area Clean-up • Food Drive

There are various outside teams that allow you to get outside and get your hands dirty. Due to the heat, some outdoor teams may not work during the afternoon – team leaders will decide.

MOST of these options are great opportunities for the entire family.

Construction Teams

Carpentry • Roofing • Painting

There are various construction teams that allow you to use your knowledge in the following trades: carpentry, roofing, or painting.

You don’t have to be a certified contractor, but you will need to be handy, able to climb a ladder, and willing to lift heavy objects.

Because of safety reasons, you must be 16+.

Support teams

Meal Preparation • Water & Supplies Runner • Photography • FTC Merch • Materials & Tools Scheduling • Database Management • Operations • Floater

There are various support positions that play a major role in helping all areas of FTC run smoothly. These positions have already been appointed by FTC Leadership.

If you have been assigned to a support position you can register here. You will choose the “Support Positions” option when prompted.
